Obadiah
Okay, That's Enough At least four times in history the Edomites, a neighboring nation, attacked Judah and plundered Jerusalem. After one of these invasions, the prophet Obadiah announced that God would destroy Edom. In his covenant with Abraham, God had promised, "I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you". (Genesis 12:3 NKJV) Obadiah's brief, one-chapter book contains God's announcement that he will keep this pledge. The Edomites had marched through the gates of God's people, seized their wealth, and waited at the crossroads to cut down their fugitives. Therefore God would see to it that the house of Esau was consumed. "No survivor shall remain of the house of Esau".
